The Skullcandy Push Active True Wireless earbuds are a plastic build, unique 2-tone color blend designed for athletes, with stability hooks for a stable in-ear fit and IP55 dust and water protection. These earbuds provide adaptability with adjustable sound profiles via a graphic EQ and preset and the convenience of Skull-iQ voice commands. However, these earbuds have dual noise-cancellation microphones but fail to filter out low-frequency sounds.

Design of Skullcandy Push Active:

The Skullcandy Push Active earphones are an amazing blend of unique two-tone appeal. Color combinations like ‘Black with Orange Accents,’ ‘Dark Blue combined with Green,’ and ‘Light Grey enhanced by Blue’ cater to various tastes and preferences.

Bigger is better, and Skullcandy took that seriously, too. The earbuds and charging case feel a little bulky, positively impacting the 44-hour battery life. Also, it provides a very stable in-ear fit, and the rubber ear hooks are also very comfortable around the ear and have a well-built plastic design. The waterproof rating of Skullcandy Push Active is certified IP55.

Control of Skullcandy Push Active:

The Skullcandy Push Active earbuds have one physical button on each bud, and with each click, you can hear a beep sound. In addition to physical control, these earbuds also support voice control.

Through physical control button there are multiple functions like volume control, play/pause, manual pairing, share Audio with another pair of Skull-iQ headphones. Also it’s possible to remap the controls without losing any functions.

In addition to the physical control button, as I mentioned, you can also control your earbuds through voice command. For that, you have to say ‘Hey, Skullcandy’ before each command, like play, pause, accept, reject, next, previous, and many more.

Sound Quality of Skullcandy Push Active:

The Skullcandy Push Active has 6 mm dynamic drivers in each earpiece with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz, guaranteeing a broad spectrum of sound. The audio profile features a minor focus on bass, providing that desired bang and rumble without overpowering other aspects.

Microphone of Skullcandy Push Active:

The Skullcandy Push Active has dual noise cancellation microphones, but the microphone’s noise management capabilities are mediocre. We recommend that if you are about to have an important phone conversation, it is best to be in a less noisy spot.

Connectivity of Skullcandy Push Active:

The Skullcandy Push Active has satisfactory Bluetooth connectivity, with Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility promising a stable wireless connection. However, it does not have the capabilities of multi-device pairing or NFC pairing.

Battery life of Skullcandy Push Active:

Skullcandy promised that these earbuds would last 10 hours of continuous playtime. Our testing team also measured nearly 10 hours, and the charging case has 34 additional hours of charge for the earbuds. This means these earbuds has a total battery life of about 44 hours and can be fully charged in less than 1 hour. Additionally, the charging case supports only USB-C cable charging.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the Skullcandy Push Active earbuds provide a comfortable in-ear fit with three different sizes of ear-tips and weigh about 0.04 lbs. Also, the stability hook does not pressure the ear too much. Sound of these earbuds is a little bass forward but also has 3 Preset EQ Modes: Music, Movie, and Podcast. These earbuds have two mics for noise handling, but the recording quality is mediocre. In terms of battery life, these headphones have a total battery life of about 44 hours and can be fully charged within 1 hour. Additionally, they feature fast charging, though only 10 minutes of charge gives you 2 hours of playtime. The charging case does not support wireless charging and can only be charged through USB-C. Regarding connectivity, Skullcandy Push Active earbuds do not support multi-device pairing, but overall, the Bluetooth connection is relatively stable.
